The Bigfork Tech team includes lawyers, CPAs, and technology professionals with more than 70 years of combined business and legal technology experience — working for Fortune 500 companies, law firms, technology companies, government agencies, and nonprofits.

Christine Jones and Tanya Avila were both part of the in-house legal team that helped grow GoDaddy into a billion-dollar company. They lived the frustration of manual processes: searching through thousands of emails for a contract, building standard documents from scratch every time, and managing approvals through spreadsheets and calendar reminders.

They built ALOE to be the tool they always needed — and the tool their clients needed. ALOE is proved through trial and error across many different settings and industries over many years. Christine is an attorney, CPA, and serial entrepreneur with decades of in-house legal and business operations experience at Fortune 500 companies. She was part of the leadership team that helped grow GoDaddy into a billion-dollar company.

Christine co-founded Bigfork Tech after living through the frustrations of manual contract processes — searching thousands of emails for documents, building standard agreements from scratch, and managing approvals across disconnected systems. She built ALOE to be the tool she always needed.

Her dual background in law and accounting gives ALOE a unique perspective on compliance, risk management, and financial governance that few CLM platforms can match.

Tanya M. Avila, Esq.

Chief Legal Counsel, Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder

Tanya is an experienced in-house attorney and legal operations professional who has worked across law firms, technology companies, government agencies, and nonprofits. Her career spans more than two decades managing complex legal and operational workflows.

Like Christine, Tanya experienced firsthand the inefficiencies of manual contract management — the hours lost to status checks, the risk of missed renewal deadlines, and the difficulty of managing a team across multiple platforms. She co-created ALOE to give legal teams a tool built around how they actually work.

As COO and Chief Legal Counsel of Bigfork Tech, Tanya oversees both the legal framework and day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring ALOE continues to evolve with the real needs of in-house legal departments.
